How to enable leave requests that overlap over two leave years?
Some leave applications overlap two leaves years and these can prove to be quite problematic. For example, you could apply for leave at the end of this leave year but the start of next leave year. Thankfully, there is an option in LunaHR to handle this. The option correctly deducts leave from the two leave years.
You can enable this leave request by following these instructions:
- Leave -> Settings
- Select ‘Allow Leave Request Over Two Leave Years’
Please note:
- For this option to work, you must make sure leave can be applied for in the next leave year. This is a separate option. Instructions for this can be found here
